glamour + grit {south florida teen photographer}

As my own daughter gets ready for her upcoming bat mitzvah, we decided to do a few different concept photo sessions for her, instead of one big session. The first was in a sunflower field, her favorite flower, and it was beautiful. And now this portrait session as on the softball field, her home away from home, a place she absolutely loves and is very representative of her life as a travel fastpitch softball player. She rarely has a day of nothing to do, and something in her schedule cancelled yesterday, so we ran to the field last minute. Luckily my good friend, Heather, from Heather Coronel Photography could meet us there to add to our vision and help with things, from brushing Reese’s hair, holding the off-camera light, poofing her dress, and throwing the softballs all around Reese (her awesome idea!) without hitting her in the head. It all came together, and Reese rocked it. I look at these images and see a girl who is no longer my baby, but a beautiful, sweet, smart, strong young woman. Sigh.
