almost 11 years old {south florida child photographer}

In 3 hours, my oldest child turns 11 years old.  I am feeling a bit nostalgic about him, and thinking of the days when he was little.  He is far from little now - standing just shy of 5 feet tall, 2 inches from being as tall as me.  To say that I absolutely adore him is an understatement, and I don't really have the words to express how proud I am of him. I was looking through some photos from this year and came across this image from a few months ago.  I have photos of him like this through the years, not quite smiling, and a bit contemplative. It is all in the eyes.  Happy Birthday to my Jake!
