Baptism of Artemis {south florida event photographer}

I met my client at a parent/child class at the Family Center at Nova University with Reese and her two year old daughter. A few months after class ended, I photographed her 2 year old, just her. We had a great time and several outfit changes! Now, this weekend, I was priviledged to photograph her new baby's baptism at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. I have never before seen such a beautiful church and witnessed such a lovely baptism. The baptism was filled with tradition and ceremony, and also some very wise and kind words from the priest. I loved it when the priest blessed Artemis' eyes, and her forehead, her nose and ears. When the baptism was over, Artemis quickly fell fast asleep. The baptism was followed by a delicious dinner at Thira restaurant, filled with family and friends. There was much love in the room, surrounding Artemis and her family, and I was so happy to be there, documenting it all.
