being a mom {fort lauderdale family photographer}

Being a mom is the most important thing that I do.  Some days, it is challenging and hard and tiring, and other days it is crazy fun, rewarding, and the sweetest thing.  No matter what, loving these three children of mine is honestly my favorite job in life. Mother's Day was last Sunday, and it was wonderful.  It was also a real day, and I am still a real mom.  That means that I got to plan my perfect Mother's Day and do activities with Wayne and the kids that I chose, BUT life is not perfect and either are my kids.  There was still some bickering and annoying each other, which of course annoyed me, but isn't that life?  What was important was that I was with my children, and that I get to love them everyday. Luckily, I think they like me too, as I was blessed to have received lots of hugs and kisses.  Here's a little peek into my Mother's Day.  After breakfast in bed (thank you Cami and Reese), and reading my beautiful cards, we spent the morning at the Farmer's Market, eating a little, shopping a little and hanging out.  Later in the day, I played charades with the kids, gave Cami and Reese a photography lesson, and had Brinner (yes, breakfast for dinner is very popular in our house) in our pit while watching the movie, Parental Guidance, with everyone (a little bit of torture for Jake!).  Lots of laughs and lots of love.  Hope your Mother's Day was filled with hugs, kisses, and hopefully some chocolate too.  xoxo

Cami took this photo of Reese below (so proud)...
