cookies on superbowl sunday {fort lauderdale lifestyle photographer}

During Sunday morning snuggle time in my bed, Wayne came across a recipe for Reese's peanut butter cup cookies (how the laptop entered snuggle time, I can't really say).  And of course, Reesie was all excited about her "own" cookie, and couldn't wait to start baking.  The day got a little hectic, with food shopping, kids, playdates, and a soccer game, but Reese and I finally got into the kitchen to bake our little hearts out.  When it came time to making the batter into little balls for the mini muffin pan, I was genuinely surprised that she did a whole pan by herself!  The cookies were a hit, and we also had fun making sliders and thinly sliced, roasted potatoes (with Slap Ya Mama of course)  YUM!

a little sliced potato action -

so easy to make - just slice up a few potatoes (thin slices), spray a baking sheet with spray oil, place the potatoes on the sheet in a single layer, spray the potatoes with the spray oil, and then sprinkle on whatever seasoning you like.  we love garlic salt or slap ya mama cajun seasoning.  bake at 450 until desired crispiniess.  enjoy!

I think Jake is in chocolate/peanut butter heaven.
