giving back {south florida lifestyle photographer}
Yesterday was a rough day for me. As a volunteer photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Organization, I was called by a hospital to photograph a 34 week old baby that was stillborn. You might ask, "why?" For the family, having a photograph of the baby will help the family in their grieving process; let's them remember that this baby was here and was very much loved. So as difficult as it was, and as sad as I was all day yesterday, I felt good that I was able to do something. In life, it is not always easy to make a difference. I'm not a doctor - I couldn't help save the baby. But, I am hoping that maybe the photograph of their baby will help the family in the days and weeks to come.
