What was great about Jake's bar mitzvah party is that it was really for the kids to have great, outdoor fun. Jake's kids' party was at Tigertail Lake Recreational Center, and the kids all got harnessed in and did an incredible obstacle course that included rock climbing and rope walking. Then, they got the chance to go on the water with paddleboards, kayaks and canoes. They played games, ate, ran around the beach area, threw the football, and had some adventure and a lot of fun. I was even a little adventurous, went out on a boat to get some great shots of the kids (and some adults!) in the water, and loved it! Jake is truly a wonderful, kind, smart and easygoing kid, and I could see how incredibly much he is loved by his family and friends, and how much he loves them as well. The decor centered around saving sea turtles and beach cleanup, causes that are very important to Jake. I am so glad that I was asked to document these amazing two days.
