Middle school is such a weird age, especially for girls.  Girls at this age have a lot of insecurities and doubts and are trying to find their way with their friends and with themselves.  This is one of the reasons that I LOVE photographing tweens.  In a time when our daughters' insecurities run rampant, it is an opportunity to give them some additional confidence and to show them how beautiful they are, inside and out. I've known Leah for about 5 years now, and can remember photographing her for the first time in her cute pjs on the bottom of the staircase in her home.  I loved spending time with her during this photo shoot, and chatting and getting to know her all over again as a middle schooler.  Photographing kids doing what they love translates into meaningful, timeless images, so I'm glad that we went to the ranch and photographed Leah with her horse.   Enjoy your Sneak Peek!  xoxo
