My Wayne had a birthday this week. We had a very sweet homestyle celebration - with his favorite dinner, homemade cake and decorations, and really just a celebration of him. The girls made handmade menus for dinner, we put lots of silly signs (a family tradition) around the house, and wrote him a poem that we read at dinner. We just wanted him to know how much we appreciate him and how much he does for our family. Wayne, of course, had an exam on his birthday and had to study all day for another exam the following day. He doesn't get much of a break, with work, school, family and shooting weddings and events with me on the weekends. For all that he is, for all that he does, for how he makes me feel loved every single day, I adore him, and I love him, and I appreciate him. My honey.
