Sarah's bat mitzvah was a special night, for her and her wonderful family and for all of the family and friends who came to celebrate or "Sarahbrate." Sarah is really an incredible teen - she is smart, beyond sporty, funny, deep, beautiful and resilient. All the love that everyone feels for this family was out there for Sarah to feel Saturday night. Everyone was happy to be there, celebrate Sarah, dance with her - all these amazing people who have been this family's village. I loved how Rachel and Zachary hugged on her and were so excited for her, and how proud Andy was of her, how her friends adored her, and how everyone was just really happy to be together. Debbie was there is all of our hearts, and I know she would have loved it. xoxo
