spelling bee

On a personal note, today, my nine year old son Jake, won the third grade spelling bee at  his school.  I didn't expect it to be so exciting, but it really was!  When the contest got down to the last two children, we got pretty nervous.  The greatest part (that made me cry!), was that Jake had been so extremely serious during the entire contest, but when he won, he threw his arms up in the air like Rocky.  It was priceless!
