Strides for Safety

I was asked to photograph an event for the William Lehman Injury Research Center that took place this past Sunday morning.  It was a 5k Race and Safety Fair to raise money for the research center and to raise awareness of safety issues.  This was the first year for the event, and it was a great success!  So many people took place in the race and then stayed to participate in the safety fair.  My good friend, Stephanie and her friend, Lisa worked very hard to put the event together, and they did a great job.  I couldn't believe how many little kids were there at 6:30 a.m.!  Mine, of course, were still sleeping (:
