take your child to work day {fort lauderdale beach child photographer}

The other day, my sweet little girl came home with a paper from school on which she wrote that she wanted to be a photographer when she grew up.  It put such a smile on my face that she wants to be like her mommy.  So, for this year's Take your Child to Work day, Reese decided to hang with me.  We began the day with an early photoshoot of her on Fort Lauderdale beach.  We ended the photoshoot with some playtime in the ocean, until two very nice gentlemen let us know that a man up the beach had just been stung by a jellyfish.  Then, we saw a jellyfish on the sand, and Reese was done.  We came home, downloaded, culled and edited the images together.  We also went to Staples (since it is an office/work store), and then I created some photography assignments for Reese.  I would give her words like green, light, up, wood, and more, and she had to use her creativity to photograph something that represented those words.  I loved having her with me and seeing her creativity bloom.  Who knows?  Maybe one day she will follow in her mama's footsteps.  Here are some of the photos from our early morning beach photo shoot in Fort Lauderdale.  Enjoy!  xoxo
