the fair {south florida family photographer}
Here are some images from "Mississippi's House Party" - the Neshoba County Fair. I have never seen anything like it. The midway is like the Broward County Fair, with the food and rides and games, but the rest of the fair is what makes it so unique. People actually live at the fair for the week - in these colorful, decorated 2 or 3 story cabins. There are hundreds of cabins there, with street names like Shady Lane or Happy Hollow. Usually about 2 to 4 families stay in one cabin, with the kids bunking together. They cook out, hang out, and walk down to all of the activities at the fair. We went to the art festival, petting zoo, and rodeo, but there is also horse races, bands playing at night, cattle shows and much more. It was really an amazing experience!
