the swimming pool {south florida children photographer}

There is something about it - the swimming pool.  It holds all the best memories, the good times, the fun.  Everything is right when you are in the pool with your family.  I think if we could live in the pool, no one would ever fight or whine; life would be all good. Some of my most cherished memories of my own father are in the pool, as little girls jumping on his arms, trying to take him down, while he lifted all four of us up, with one arm, like we were mere feathers.   Watching him swim with his grandchildren, throwing them into the deep end, dunking them off their rafts.  I think of him often when my children jump on my back in the pool and ask me to take them for a ride.  I remember hanging onto my father's neck and the peaceful feeling as he took me underwater, gliding to the deep end.

I am getting a little sad that summer is coming to an end soon.  I just want to hold onto the carefree feeling of being with the kids.  I want more pool days, more beach days, more movie days, more game nights, more time without hectic schedules and more of this...
