avery - senior photo session {south florida + gainesville senior photographer}

To say that Avery's senior photo session was an adventure is an understatement!  We had planned everything so well, three different locations, the clothing, etc, but as Florida weather has it, it rained.  We made it to our first location, the empty parking lot, before the rain, and we rushed through about 10 minutes of images with the wind blowing and the gray skies closing in.  We tried to stay optimistic, telling each other that the rain would pass and that it was just a quick Florida rainstorm, but the rain did not pass.  So, we drove.  We drove and drove, trying to get out from under this giant gray cloud.  Finally, we got to Dania Beach on US-1, and there was no rain!  So we found an abandoned lot and pulled the car in, jumped out and worked with what we had.  We found some grass, a fence, a cool window, and an beautiful wood door.  It was a very "fly by the seat of your pants" kind of shoot, but laughed a lot, ran around a lot, and had a great time.  We even made it to our last destination - the swing - right when the rain stopped, just a few minutes before the sun went down.  I had the best time hanging with my beautiful, fun niece, being silly with her, and having this adventure.  I can't believe she is going to be a senior, and am glad I had the chance to photograph her spirit at this exciting time in her life.  I love you Avery!!  xoxo
