For me, photographing Chelsea's bat mitzvah was very special. Many years ago, before digital cameras were used and I was still shooting on film, the Horwitz family came to me for their family session. I photographed them at the beach, with little Chelsea and her bright smile and her bouncy, adorable curly hair. Since then, I have seen them a few times for family photos, and have been blessed to see Chelsea and Zachary grow up into amazing kids. So, I really loved being there to document this meaningful day for Chelsea and her family. Not only was it an incredibly fun night, but it felt like being with old friends.
