Many people know Jonah's family because his both his parents are prominent rabbis in the South Florida community - at Ramat Shalom and Find Your Ish. Andrew and Cheryl are both inspirational, down to earth, and passionate rabbis. But, I know the Jacobs family as a fun loving, close knit family, who laugh a lot and enjoy being together. And Jonah himself is an incredibly smart, sporty, happy, kind, and hard working young man, who is much loved by his friends and of course, his family. I love being around them, and so photographing Jonah's bar mitzvah this past weekend at Ramat Shalom and C & I Studios was wonderful, especially since I was able to photograph his bar mitzvah service, see all his hard work studying come to fruition, and hear the very heart felt speeches given by his sister, his parents and some members of the Ramat Shalom community. Everything, from the service to the party, was amazing, and it was so much fun for me to photograph this very meaningful event for Jonah and his family. Jonah had a smile on his face the entire night! Plus, C & I Studios had so many unique places for photos that I could not resist posting way too many (eeek!) And lastly, I did not let the kids on the train tracks for photos (it is illegal and super dangerous), which was proven by the fact that the actual train happened to pass right by us while we were shooting photos outdoors in the back of C & I.
