mother's day photo session {fort lauderdale family photographer}

I am writing this late at night, after a crazy weekend of shooting two events back to back on Saturday.  Then, today I spent the day with my family, and Wayne and I wound up getting the kids a hamster.  Not sure if we are crazy yet, but I'll let you know soon.  Right now, I am worried that Kiwi (the hamster) will keep Cami up all night running around the wheel thing.  Reese was so excited after we got Kiwi home, that she said, "Wow, I never had a pet before!"  Then, we reminded her that we have a dog, and she said, "Oh yeah." Well, last week I spent a great afternoon with my friend, Laura, and her family for a Mother's Day photo session at the beach.  It is not always easy to coordinate three generations, but when you do, the photos you get are truly priceless.  Plus, I got to hang out with Laura and have good girl talk - love that!  The lighting was dreamy, and capturing the bond between a mother and her children is one of the things I enjoy most.   We moms are usually behind the lens, not in front.  So we really need to remember to get in some our photos, for us and for our children (and their children and so on).  Thanks Laura for sharing your children and family with me - enjoy your Sneak Peek!  Love you xoxo!
