I really enjoy getting to know my clients during a photo session, especially when it is an extended family session.  One of my favorite parts of this session was photographing the grandparents - a. because they were so young at heart; and b. because they were so affectionate and lovey dovey.  If I directed them to hug, they not only hugged, but they laughed and kissed and enjoyed each other.  I couldn't help but think how lucky their children and grandchildren are to see such a great relationship.  And then, it winds up that I went to the same high school with their daughter and she was friends with my younger sister.  Small world!  Plus, there were four generations at the shoot, which is always amazing! At the end of the shoot, I let all of the cousins be free and run around and race.  There was the most gorgeous light at the end of the day - and it was heavenly to photograph them in it.  Enjoy your Sneak Peek!
