strides for safety { south florida event photographer }

Do you need a great family activity this weekend? Well, the William Lehman Injury Research Center at the Ryder Trauma Center will host its second annual Strides for Safety 5K Race on Sept. 13 at Aventura Mall (behind Macy's), beginning at 7 a.m.  My good friend, Stephanie Ordet, is one of the co-chairs and I am so happy to help out and photograph the event for them again this year.  Last year was the first year for the event, and it was amazing!  We hope that every year the event will grow and raise more money.  The proceeds from the race  will benefit the William Lehman Injury Research Center, whose mission is to create a safer environment and improve existing systems of care for trauma victims and their families.

It is a great activity for families, with the 5k race and the 1 mile race for kids.  There will be a safety fair and a fun zone, and hopefully everyone will learn great ways to keep their families safe!!
